We decided to try out Burger Culture in Williamstown because who can say no to burgers?
If anyone has gone to a Burger Edge, it feels very familiar in terms of burger presentation and setup as well as the menu colour scheme. I ordered the Willy Culture which seemed like a decent well made burger, with the patty leaning on the dry side (guess it was lean after all). Overall flavor was okay tasted fresh, but nothing special.
Ms. Unfit-As-Hell reported the New Yorker is “Pretty good!”. No complaints here. Scarfed down shortly after.
My other friend Mr. Average, customised his Culture Classic with extra mushrooms and switched to caramelised onions over fresh ones. Mr. Average is hard to please so it was surprising when he mentioned he actually liked the burgers here, shortly after claiming that it was only due to his customising skills.
I also ordered some sides below.
The chicken bites were very bland, not too sure what the chicken was marinated with but we couldn’t taste it. The garlic chicken balls though.. were pretty awesome. Cross cut below!
That garlic butter game is strong.
I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon as there are so many other quality options out there and I think over time I’ve been spoilt for choice because there is such a strong burger culture in Melbourne.
